Tigard Youth Football strives to provide all of its players the with equipment in excellent condition.  If for some reason your equipment appears to be faulty or does not fit properly, please contact our equipment managers at equip@tigardyouthfootball.org.

Equipment Storage Location

Our equipment storage location is Burnham Business Park, directly across the street from the Fire Station on Burnham Street in downtown Tigard. Unit E26.

Equipment Issue

Equipment Issue Dates:
Saturday, June 5 | 9:00am-4:00pm

Wednesday, June 9 | 5:30pm-8:00pm

Saturday, August 7 | 9:00am-noon

A parent or legal guardian must accompany all players for equipment issue. All forms must be completed and turned in at this time. Equipment cannot be picked up without the submission of the Medical Release Form, and the execution of the TVYFL Player Contract. Failure to have all required items will result in ineligibility to receive equipment. It is advised that you wear something light and comfortable, as you will be trying on uniforms and pads. Limited changing areas are available.

Any needs for equipment other than the specified dates will have to be arranged with a coach, who will coordinate with our equipment manager for a mutually agreed upon time. Exchanges of equipment will also be done through a coach. Each player is issued one set of shoulder pads, one helmet, one set of practice pants and game pants, and practice jersey. You are responsible for cleats, socks, and any extra pads your child may want. Also, any mouthpiece lost or used as chewing gum to the point of dysfunction will be the player’s responsibility. An athletic supporter is not required, but advised.

Equipment Return

Equipment Return Dates: Wednesdays, November 10 & 17 | 5:30-7:30pm

Before you return your child's equipment, it must All be cleaned. Helmets must be free of stickers and residue (DO NOT remove the Tigers Decals on the helmets).  If they are not cleaned up, you will forfeit your $25 equipment deposit. 

Pants can not be dried in the drier.  If your pants are returned and have been dried (the hip pads curl and are not reusable) or are returned dirty, you will forfeit your $25 equipment deposit. 

The game jersey is owned by the player, and is not to be returned.

Bring all other items (shoulder pads, practice and game pants, practice jersey and helmet) to the Storage Complex at Burnham Business Park, unit E26. In order to receive your deposit, equipment must be returned on one of the above listed days. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of your deposit. It will also increase your equipment deposit for next year to $100.
