It's Homecoming week and the weather forecast for Thursday's parade looks good!!!

 

For those of you who have had some questions of why we are not doing floats here is a reminder again of why we are not doing them:

 

1.  Teams left the staging area a complete mess;

2.  Players brought candy/silly string and other items that were not allowed;

3.  We were walking a very thin line with the High School each year about our participation due to the above items.

 

So as a board we came to the conclusion to have our players walk down Durham Rd. instead of the not participating this great annual event.  If your concerned about the distance of the parade, it's only a mile.  There are many other youth groups that walk this parade route each year.

 

Again, we would love to see the players faces painted, hair colored ect.  Have your team make a banner or even two if you would like.  Don't forget we are asking for 4-5 volunteers to walk along the traffic side of your players.  With the 4-5 volunteers plus your 5 coaches that should give your 10 parents to keep your players in line. 

 

 

Here is the line up and a diagram of how your team should line up.  This is based on a team of 25.  You may have to alter if you have a larger or smaller team.
